Frequently Asked Questions
Storage, reconstitution, purity, and compliance — everything we get asked, answered honestly.
Shipping & Storage
How should I store my peptides?
Lyophilized (powder) can be stored at room temperature for short transit or in a freezer for long-term. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated at 2°C–8°C and use within 30 days.
What if it gets warm during shipping?
Powdered peptides are highly stable and survive ambient transit temperatures for weeks without loss of potency.
Can I freeze it after mixing?
No. Freezing reconstituted peptides fractures the molecular chains. Keep refrigerated only.
Preparation & Reconstitution
What liquid do I use to mix?
Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the industry standard for preventing bacterial growth.
Why is there a vacuum in my vial?
This is a result of the freeze-drying process. Introduce liquid slowly down the vial wall to protect the delicate compound.
The powder didn't dissolve. What do I do?
Never shake. Gently swirl or roll the vial. If needed, let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to dissolve naturally.
Quality & Compliance
What is the purity level?
We provide peptides with verified purity of 99% or higher, tested via HPLC. Every batch ships with a third-party Certificate of Analysis.
Are these FDA- or Health Canada-approved?
No. All Vital Aminos products are sold for laboratory research and development purposes only. They are not approved for human consumption, diagnosis, or treatment in Canada or the US.
